World Star Winner

Pyroll Packaging is pleased to announce that it has won the prestigious WorldStar 2025 Award, presented by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO). This year’s competition featured 550 packaging innovations from 40 different countries, competing in 19 categories.

Pyroll Packaging’s recognition was achieved in the digital packaging category. The award-winning takeaway packaging series was designed for the new Tammela Stadium and the Finnish football team, Ilves.

IlvesFC team partnered with Pyroll to create an engaging, surprising, and family-friendly events where also packaging has a big role. This new customized takeaway packaging series includes cups, two different-sized popcorn boxes, and a serving tray made from easily recyclable folding carton produced by MM Kotkamills, sourced from sustainably managed and certified forests. The design of the packaging series strongly supports the Ilves football team brand. The green and yellow designs certainly catch attention and won’t go unnoticed. The cups feature images of Ilves football players, and they have even become collectible items among fans.

This winning packaging series plays an important part of the experience at the numerous events held at the Tammela Stadium.

The awards ceremony will take place at the WorldStar Awards gala on May 30, 2025, in Milan, Italy, as part of the IPACK-IMA event. For more information about the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2025, please visit www.worldstar.org.
