WorldStar 2018 for Pyroll

The fish roe container manufactured by Pyroll Tampere for fish stock restoration continued its winning streak. The container received the WorldStar alongside the ScanStar.

WorldStar is a competition organized by the World Packaging Organization, in which the world’s best packages can participate. A total of 318 packages from 38 different countries competed for WorldStars this time. The award ceremony was held on May 2, 2018, in Australia.

This award-winning new biodegradable roe container makes fish stocking more ecological and efficient than before. The new cardboard container replaces the plastic stocking containers previously used for this purpose. The container was designed in collaboration with ichthyologist Manu Vihtonen.
