Pyroll won the WorldStar award in the digital packaging category!
Pyroll won the prestigious WorldStar 2025 award, granted by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO). The jury consisted of 51 judges representing 50 different WPO member countries around the world. This year’s competition featured 550 packaging innovations from 40 different countries competing in 19 different categories. The recognition received by Pyroll Packaging was achieved in the digital packaging category.
This award-winning takeaway packaging series was designed for the new Tammela Stadium and Veikkausliiga team Ilves. The series includes cups featuring player images, two different-sized popcorn boxes, and a tray. The extremely appealing visual digital printing of the packages motivates fans to even keep the packages as memorabilia.
This year’s WorldStar award ceremony will be held in Milan on May 30, 2025, in conjunction with the IPACK-IMA 2025 trade fair. This takeaway packaging series designed for FC Ilves will also compete in May for the WorldStar Special Marketing Award category.
