Our new innovation FlowPap® Evo competed in the finals of the Sustainability Awards held in connection with the FachPack fair! 193 different sustainability-related innovations from around the world entered the high-level competition, of which 25 solutions made it to the finals. Our competitor – the biodegradable and heat-sealable paper packaging film FlowPap®Evo competed in the Bio-based category. More information about the Sustainability Awards competition and finalists can be found behind the link.

FlowPap® Evo paper packaging film is a heat-sealable and recyclable fiber-based solution made from renewable raw materials. The product structure’s functionality has been achieved without using plastic of fossil or bio-based origin. The paper packaging film can be used on existing packaging machines and protects packaged products in exactly the same way as conventional plastic-based packaging films designed for dry food products, as long as the packaged product itself does not require particularly low water vapor or moisture permeability.

FlowPap® Evo products are manufactured from FSC-certified paper and high-quality printing is done with water-based inks. The material can also be windowed. The benefits of FlowPap® Evo are the package’s environmental friendliness, recyclability, lightweight structure, breathability, and easy opening. The material is sturdy, maintains its shape, and adapts to different sized unit packages. The product is suitable for recycling/cardboard collection.
